Entering his third season with the Colorado Rapids, Performance Analyst and Strength Coach Miguel Motolongo continues to amaze.

His responsibilities include yearlong periodization of training sessions, strength and conditioning, nutritional guidance, and progressive recuperation of injured athletes to full participation.

Miguel is both a certified athletic trainer as well as a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the BOC and NSCA, respectively. He is also full body-certified in active release techniques and works closely with the head athletic trainer in reducing the amount of matches missed for injured athletes.

We’re pleased to share a few exercises directly from Miguel. These approachable workouts are designed to fit anyone’s schedule – whether you’re at the gym or busy at home.
